Revenue sharing
Thanks for your help running screenshot factories for Browsershots!
I'm sharing 50% of the revenue from Priority Processing between all factory admins, based on the percentage of screenshot uploads per month. Your factories have earned Euros in the last month.
Can I send the money through PayPal (to which email address)?
Or if you have a bank account in Europe, I can send a direct bank transfer from Germany, to avoid the PayPal transaction fee. I need your IBAN and BIC/SWIFT code for that.
Or if you don't want the money, you can have it donated to the Python Software foundation, or any other non-profit of your choice.
Cheers, Johann
Password request
Browsershots is a distributed system that works with a central server and many screenshot factories.
If you want to run a private system, you must also install the server software. See the instructions here:
http://trac.browsershots.org/wiki/InstallServer
If you want to run a screenshot factory to make screenshots for the public server at browsershots.org, you must first create a user account and register your factory on the website. Then you can use that password to run your screenshot factory. Start here:
https://browsershots.org/accounts/email/
Then you can register browsers for your screenshot factory by visiting the following page with each browser:
http://browsershots.org/browsers/add/
So far, there's support for MSIE, Firefox, Opera and Safari on Windows, for Safari and Firefox on Mac OS X, and for almost 20 different browsers on Linux.
You can use the login link in the top right corner of each page to get to your private profile page. When you're logged in, you can activate and deactivate browsers on your screenshot factory page.
Here are some instructions for installing the software:
