Priority processing for your domain

This means that your screenshot requests won't have to wait in the queue. They will be processed immediately, and you will usually get screenshots of any page on your domain within 5 to 10 minutes.

The simplest way to donate is to click the PayPal button. The donation will be in Euros, but PayPal will also accept other currencies and convert automatically. I also have a bank account in Germany. If you want to transfer money directly, send email to johann@browsershots.org and ask for details.

Financial support will accelerate the project development considerably. I am a full-time student and work on Browsershots in my spare time, but I have to take proprietary jobs to pay the rent and the server bills.

How does it work?

For a donation of 10 Euros, you can specify one domain name that will get priority processing for one month. This includes all pages on that domain:

• http://www.example.com/
• http://www.example.com/blog/
• http://www.example.com/test/index.html
• etc.

Pages on your domain are accepted with and without a www prefix:

• http://www.example.com/
• http://example.com/

Different subdomains are not included:

• http://blog.example.com/
• http://www.test.example.com/

For higher donations, you can get more domains or more months:

• 1 month for 1 domain = 10 Euros
• 1 month for 2 domains = 20 Euros
• 2 months for 1 domain = 20 Euros

Consider these donations and not payments. I will not be able to give you a refund if the service breaks down. But I will do my best to keep it running and improve it steadily.

When you make a donation, there may be a small delay before DomainPriority is activated. This is because I manually have to add your domain to the database when I get the notification from PayPal. When your donation comes in during my sleep, the delay may be 8 hours or so. In rare cases, when I visit my mother in offline land over the weekend, the delay could be two or three days.
